Specs – Schmidt Equipment’s Heavy Duty "H" Series Roll-off Containers

H Series "Rectangular" Roll-off H series 30 yd Rectangular H Series "Bathtub" Roll-off H series 30 yd Bathtub

Schmidt Equipment’s Heavy Duty "H" models are built to be exceptionally strong and
durable – PLUS affordable! No one sells a better container at a lower price!

a) 6"x 2"x !/4" steel tube rails and 6"long nose rollers w/threaded grease fittings used on all models;

b) Solid steel nose inserts are slid inside tubes and then securely welded in place;

c) Rear crossmember is 6" x 3" steel tubing – not just a pair of boxed 3" channels as used by other manufacturers (Schmidt Equipment’s 6 x 3 tube is 50% stronger than the boxed channels, so the sides of the container are much less likely to spread apart at the top);

d) Floor is 1/4" plate, with all joints located over cross channels and welded so the welds penetrate all the way through the floor and into the cross channels. (Some manufacturers have joints that are not over the channels or that run lengthwise, which results in the welds eventually cracking and splitting apart);

e) The floor is supported on 3" cross channels on 16" centers (many other manufacturers use 18" to 20" centers -- note that 18" adds nearly 25% more bending load to floor plates, and 20" adds 50%)

f) 11 ga. sides, with all seams (including the top edges of the sheets) welded continuously for more strength and resistance to rusting;

g) (7) posts per side including rear corner post, except 40 yd. have (9) and 20 ft. models have (6);

h) All side and front posts are welded continuously along both sides to keep them from rusting through from the inside;

I) Hinges are 1-1/2" sch 80 pipe w/screwed-in grease fittings; (2) on 20 yds, (3) on 30 & 40 yds;

j) Downward-acting latch lever (can't swing out and hit operator when opened, and designed so it pulls the door inward as it is closed; (2) latch bars on 20 and 30 yds, (3) on 40 yds;

k) (2) ground rollers, 8" dia with 1-1/2" axles and recessed screwed-in grease fittings; all roller support plates are welded to special support channels and floor -- no roller supports are welded to floor only;

l) (2) 3/8" x 4" X 15" bump plates are welded on bottom of each front post, to protect the posts when they are accidentally bumped by the truck tilt frame;

m) Front of container has a stiffened 3/16" push plate approximately 24" high x 28" wide between the front posts;

n) 1/2" sch 40 steel tie-down pipes extend along the front and sides of container, approx 30" from top;

o) Outside of container is acid-etched, primed and painted 2 color coats; the inside, floor and underside are all painted one heavy color coat (more durable than primer, which absorbs water and allows rust.

Schmidt Equipment builds the BEST. Period!
